Westward Bound’s latex clothing is offered in a choice of 23 colours and trims. We offer a complete size range between: UK Size 8 (Cont. 36 / USA 6) to UK Size 24 (Cont. 54 / USA 22).

We have sought to produce the finest range of latex clothing available and selected the correct latex thicknesses to reflect the style and fit of each garment. To keep things easy and non-technical we divide our weights / thicknesses of rubber into three broad categories: Light Weight - 0.33mm, Medium Weight - 0.33 - 0.55mm and Heavy Weight - 0.65 - 0.80mm.

All garments have been hand cut and graded by our professionally trained pattern cutters.

When ordered, each garment is hand cut from the finest sheet latex. It then enters the assembly process where it is painstakingly and meticulously assembled by hand by our skilled and dedicated team.

Once assembled, each garment is checked and cleaned of any glue remnants to ensure you receive a clean, well fitting and cherished garment.

Once received, there is no reason why your latex clothing should not last for years in a pristine condition. Store your Westward Bound latex clothing in a cool dark place. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat as this can seriously discolour your rubber. Avoid contact with copper and other metal objects, as staining may occur. The same applies to direct contact with perfume.

Latex is a fragile material and needs to be treated with respect. Be very careful when handling, as sharp or jagged nails could puncture the fabric. Remember to remove rings and bracelets as these might cause a similar problem.

Do not overstretch the garments as they may become weak and rip. We supply a range of polishes and dressing aids to help with putting on your latex. You can achieve the high gloss finish professional image with our silicone spray: R043 Rub-Her Dressing Aid, M006 Latex Polishing Liquid and M005 Silicone Spray. These items will automatically appear as purchase selections when acquiring a latex garment from us although you can order by clicking links above.

Once worn, we advise you to clean your latex garment with lukewarm soapy water and pad dry with a soft non-scratch cloth. Do not use excessive force as you could damage the surface of the latex and leave a dull patch. Talc the inside and outside of your garment and store as recommended.

Store all latex items individually. Light and darks items stored together may result in staining. We accept no responsibility for marks appearing on latex and urge you to treat your garments with love and respect.

Keep away from naked flames as latex is highly flammable.

Due to the base cost of sheet rubber, an additional levy of 10% is regrettably placed on Bronze, White, Transparent, Pearlsheen Silver, Pearlsheen Pewter, Pearlsheen Purple and Pearlsheen Blue (does not apply to trims).

Natural Rubber Latex Allergy

Our Latex Garments are produced from Natural Rubber Latex as opposed to butyl - or petroleum-based synthetic rubbers.

Natural rubber latex (NRL) is a milky fluid obtained from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, which is widely grown in South East Asia, and other countries. NRL is an integral part of thousands of everyday consumer and healthcare items.

The proteins contained with NRL can cause allergic reactions to Latex. More than 40,000 products used in homes, schools and medical settings contain latex, including common items such as: condoms, rubber bands, balloons, carpet backing, surgical and examination gloves, clothing elastic, toys, sink mats, foam pillows, anaesthesia equipment, IV catheters, elastic bandages, adhesive tape, electrode pads, etc.

People who are allergic to latex may also react to banana, avocado, kiwi fruit, chestnut, plum, peach, cherry, apricot, fig, papaya, tomato, potato and some other plant foods. The list is still growing. The reason is that these plants contain proteins, which are similar enough to latex proteins to react with our allergy-producing antibodies to latex.

Latex allergy, or hypersensitivity, occurs when the body's immune system reacts to proteins found in NRL. Some individuals have specific antibodies, called IgE antibodies, that make them hypersensitive to the proteins in NRL. IgE-mediated reactions to latex proteins are responsible for most, and for the most severe allergic reactions to latex.

The onus is on you the consumer to ensure that you do not have this problem prior to making purchase.

Once you’ve selected your latex design, remember to complete the outfit with some sexy high heels and a touch of lingerie.
